Requirements

  • Experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or operations
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently overnight
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort with technology, systems, and digital tools (Office 365, dispatch software, etc.)
  • High level of accountability, professionalism, and integrity
  • Ability to respond to calls, texts, and emails, including occasional emergencies

Responsibilities

  • Oversee assigned regions to ensure on-time delivery and service excellence
  • Monitor loads, routes, and driver activity to keep operations running smoothly
  • Book hotels and support drivers with overnight logistics
  • Work closely with Driver Managers, Transportation Managers, and customers
  • Maintain strong communication across all levels—from drivers to executive leadership
  • Act as a key point of contact for overnight operations and issue resolution
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures
  • Monitor and enforce DOT, FMCSA, and local regulations
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability across all operations
  • Utilize and promote TCI systems including: Samsara (DriveCam & ELD) McLeod (load management & billing readiness) Tenstreet (driver recruiting tools) Customer portals
  • Ensure loads are updated in real time to support accurate billing and reporting
  • Help meet or exceed customer performance targets
  • Identify opportunities to improve communication, efficiency, and service quality
