About The Position

The Night Crew Manager is responsible for leading overnight store operations to ensure timely, accurate stocking, recovery, and readiness of the store for the next business day. This role focuses on productivity, safety, inventory integrity, and team development while maintaining company standards.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced overnight environment
  • Capacity to work overnight schedules, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift, move, and stock product as required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous grocery, retail, or warehouse leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise all overnight stocking, conditioning, and recovery activities
  • Plan nightly workloads based on deliveries, promotions, and labor targets
  • Ensure product is stocked, faced, rotated, and signed according to standards
  • Maintain store conditions focused on cleanliness, organization, and safety
  • Monitor productivity and adjust staffing or work flow as needed
  • Verify accurate handling of inventory, shrink control, and backstock organization
  • Enforce all safety, security, and compliance procedures during overnight hours
  • Train, coach, and develop Night Crew associates
  • Assign tasks clearly and hold associates accountable for completion and quality
  • Approve timekeeping, manage attendance, and address performance concerns
  • Promote teamwork, engagement, and a culture of accountability
  • Communicate operational updates and store conditions to store leadership
  • Ensure aisles, endcaps, and displays meet company merchandising standards
  • Confirm accurate execution of planograms and seasonal sets
  • Maintain equipment readiness (pallet jacks, balers, compactors, etc.)
  • Ensure proper handling of damaged, unsaleable, and returned merchandise
  • Maintain a safe work environment and address hazards immediately
  • Ensure associates follow proper lifting, equipment, and safety procedures
  • Comply with all company policies, labor laws, and asset protection practices
