As a Respiratory Therapist at Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center, you will provide essential direct patient care, assessing, treating, and managing patients with respiratory disorders, with a focus on improving patient outcomes. You will apply clinical knowledge and expertise to coordinate patient care, regularly planning and evaluating respiratory care, and demonstrating effective judgment and a working knowledge of the respiratory process. The role also involves guiding interdisciplinary team members by supervising respiratory interventions and assisting with related tasks, and providing leadership by establishing priorities and coordinating respiratory care. You will document and communicate all observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in patient condition to the appropriate members of the interdisciplinary health care team, and coordinate the plan of care with other members of the interdisciplinary health care team to achieve desired goals and outcomes.
