About The Position

The ETSU College of Nursing, Department of Graduate Nursing Programs invites applications for a full-time Administrative Associate. This position provides administrative support for the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) program, a nationally recognized, evidence-based home visitation model that supports first-time mothers and their families. The Administrative Associate provides general administrative and clerical support to program operations, including recordkeeping, data entry, meeting coordination, and assistance with financial and program-related tasks. The position supports program activities at both program sites, located in Kingsport and Bean Station, Tennessee, and is expected to be able to travel between the facilities and to other locations. This is an on-site position and is not remote.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel to program sites, meetings, and community activities as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with fiscal management systems and data entry platforms.
  • Knowledge of related procedures and systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift and transport heavy objects.
  • Ability to ensure program documentation is accurate and maintained appropriately.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Business English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituents in a diverse community.
  • Ability to use tact and discretion when dealing with a variety of issues.
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four (4) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to travel to program sites, meetings, and community activities as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fiscal management or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
