About The Position

Responsibilities: Customer Engagement: Interact with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and preferences for Class 6, 7, and 8 trucks. Sales Process Management: Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial contact to finalizing the sale, including test drives and financing options. Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the specifications, features, and benefits of Class 6, 7, and 8 trucks. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to provide relevant recommendations to customers. Documentation: Handle all necessary paperwork for vehicle sales, including contracts, warranties, and financing agreements. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the dealership or company. After-Sales Support: Provide ongoing support to customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any issues that arise. Skills and Qualifications: Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, particularly in the commercial vehicle industry, is highly preferred. Experience with commercial equipment sales will also be considered. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Customer Service: Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive buying experience. Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of truck specifications and the ability to explain technical details to customers. Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate prices and financing terms to close sales. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple customers and sales processes simultaneously. Licenses/Certifications: Some positions may require a commercial driver’s license (CDL) or other relevant certifications Sales Certification from Freightliner LLC on all products the company represents.
