About The Position

The New Hire Concierge is responsible for implementing and executing the onboarding and orientation portion of the new hire life cycle, providing a welcoming and positive employee experience for new hires, and support new associates in acclimating to the organization. The New Hire Concierge will monitor onboarding and orientation program effectiveness, drive operational compliance, and ensure employee recognition programs are maximized in partnership with in unit HR Generalist(s) and operational leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, Human Resources, Business Management, or Learning and Development and 2-4 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • T-Chest (Certified Health Care Enviornmental Services Technician Train the Trainer) certification will be required within six months of employement
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
  • Ability to stay organized in a demanding and changing work environment.
  • Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
  • Ability to use working knowledge of environment to meet established goals and objectives.
  • Proficient in data collection, analysis, and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as an ambassador to new employees. Serve as point of contact for incoming employees (e.g., providing information, direction, coaching for documentation/onboarding).
  • Will deliver new hire onboarding programs to support new hire knowledge including access to information and resources, including orientation and training.
  • Implement and conduct employee engagement conversations including new employee daily rounding, stay conversations, surveys and focus groups.
  • Meet with new hires, trainers and new hire managers weekly to evaluate new hire program compliance (orientation, onboarding, training), new hire performance, and proactively address program or performance gaps.
  • Offboard employees through exit interviews, capturing employee experience data and analyzing the results to find gaps to strengthen employee retention.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
