About The Position

New Car Sales Manager Key Responsibilities: Sales Management: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for new Chevrolet and GMC vehicles. Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Ensure the dealership meets all sales objectives and profitability goals. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team. Provide ongoing coaching, support, and performance feedback to sales staff. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages individual and team success. Customer Experience: Ensure an exceptional customer buying experience by maintaining high standards of customer service and satisfaction. Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally. Oversee the sales process to ensure it is smooth, efficient, and customer-centric. Inventory Management: Manage new car inventory to ensure an optimal mix of vehicles to meet customer demand. Coordinate with the inventory manager to maintain appropriate stock levels and manage vehicle ordering. Monitor and manage the aging of inventory to minimize costs and maximize profitability. Sales Operations: Develop and implement sales processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with the finance and insurance department to maximize profitability on all sales transactions. Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, state and federal regulations, and manufacturer requirements. Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute sales promotions, advertising campaigns, and events to drive traffic and sales. Utilize digital marketing and social media platforms to enhance dealership visibility and attract potential customers.
