Position Overview SUMMARY (BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB) Conducts electroneurodiagnostic procedures including patient assessment, testing, collection and technical interpretation of data,completion of preliminary reports and billing. Performs routine and complex procedures to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of clinical disorders of the nervous system in at least one of the following modalities of Neurodiagnostics: Electroencephalography(EEG), Ambulatory EEG, Long-Term Monitoring (LTM) and ICU patient monitoring. Provides training and education support to other technologists and/or neurophysiologists as needed. Gathers and documents accurate medical information. Reviews patient data and communicates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assure high quality patient care.
