About The Position

To provide high-quality clinical neurodiagnostic testing for interpretation by a pediatric neurophysiologist. New employees must be willing to be vaccinated if found non-immune to measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) and chicken pox (varicella) and/or without evidence of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccination since 2005. If you are selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years experience
  • Experience in a clinical role is preferred.
  • Student experience gained through the Neurodiagnostic program is accepted.
  • Other Currently enrolled in or a graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic program preferred
  • Registry Eligible EEG Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs electroencephalogram testing within the Guidelines of the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society on patients ranging in age from newborn to 21 years of age.
  • Provides care with consideration of patient?s age, diagnosis, psycho-social characteristics and family stressors that affect abillty to understand or retain instructions.
  • Maintain service excellence in all aspects of neurophysiology lab operations.
  • Maintains efficient operations of the neurophysiology laboratory.
  • Demostrates commitment to teamwork, quality improvement, and learning.
