Role Summary Rivian’s Network Operation Center is responsible for remotely maintaining Rivian’s charging network. We are hiring for a Network Operations Control Specialist who will work alongside NOC Engineers to help support the NOC’s day-to-day remote monitoring, case creation, and work order management responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field (e.g., Service Operations, Network Operations, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of electricity and charging
  • Experience using case/work order management tools (e.g., Salesforce, ZenDesk, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Team player mentality, with a willingness to assist and team others on the team
  • Required to communicate using telephone, email, and other digital means of communication
  • Ability to view, read, and interpret documents including operating and maintenance instructions, safety guidelines, etc.
  • Ability to travel 5% in the U.S.
  • Ability to sit or stand for 8-10 hours per day
  • Commitment to work a schedule of either Sunday through Wednesday 10AM to 8:30PM PST or Wednesday through Saturday 10AM to 8:30PM PST

Responsibilities

  • Support network operations of Rivian’s charging deployments
  • Proactively monitor all charging assets for any issues; offline, faults, irregular sessions
  • Provide excellent customer service by rapidly responding to incoming calls and emails for B2B client and service partners
  • Assist in deploying production-ready firmware to AC and DC assets
  • Use keen attention to detail to document issues in case management platform
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, including rotating holiday on-call coverage
  • Co-worker facing duties to interact and collaborate with team members in a work setting
  • Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act
