We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our high performing team. This position is onsite in Jefferson, AR. Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week. What You'll Do: Monitor and maintain a production environment which includes routers, switches, load balancers, remote VPN, proxies, DNS, DHCP, NTP and IPAM Administers network management tools to include configuration, implementation, monitoring, maintenance and management of system baselines. Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure. Plan and execute Network/Security changes and ensure performance and security are maintained. Installs, configures, services, repairs, and maintains hardware and software for network services, storage and network devices, and server systems. Implements required hardware upgrades and repairs inoperative devices to maintain mission capability. Install, terminate, reroute, and test copper and fiber optic cabling associated with offsite locations. Coordinate material and tool supply requirements for all cable and equipment rack installation projects. Completes all required installation documentation and will be knowledgeable in network cable installation techniques and labeling schemes. Dynamic and fast-paced work environment, requiring effective interactions and communications. Maintain network communication closets and equipment racks to include cabling and elevation drawings. Must be able to define cable plant expansion paths and routing of cable according to client standards. Make recommendation to engineering for improvements. Work with vendors to resolve issues and platform upgrades. Escalation support is required and mandatory. Certifying solutions prior to deploying it into production environments. Work with engineering to understand changes and provide input as required. On-call rotation required.

  • 5 years with BS/BA or 9 years with a HS Diploma.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise network environment.
  • Installing, cabling and configuration of network equipment. Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MP-BGP, IS-IS)
  • Knowledge of MPLS, Layer2 VPN, Layer3 VPN
  • Security Practices (Audits, planning, design, implementation, testing, and management) LAN/WAN/MAN internetworking technology
  • Policy and Procedure review and implementation
  • Networking and Application Protocols
  • Network monitoring via SNMP, NetFlow
  • Experience with the installation, configuration, integration and management of routers, switches, load balancers, proxies, etc.
  • Must have knowledge and skills in the fundamentals of IP and core IP technologies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
  • Must be willing to go on site 5 days a week.
  • Must be US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance
  • Active CCNA
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner
