About The Position

The Network Analyst supports the design, implementation, security, and maintenance of Paradigm Max Q LLC's network infrastructure. This role ensures reliable, secure, and compliant connectivity across corporate and program environments, including support for government contracts and controlled data systems. The Network Analyst works closely with the IT Manager to maintain network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and CMMC.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in network administration or analysis
  • Hands-on experience with networking technologies (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs)
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure network design
  • Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Configure and manage network hardware and software to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis for outages or degraded performance
  • Support remote access solutions and secure connectivity for distributed teams
  • Implement and maintain network security controls in alignment with NIST 800-171, CMMC, and DFARS requirements
  • Monitor networks for security threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access
  • Support incident response activities, including containment and remediation
  • Assist with vulnerability scanning, patching, and system hardening
  • Support network connectivity within cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and hybrid infrastructures
  • Assist in configuration of virtual networks, gateways, and secure cloud access
  • Ensure secure data flow between on-premise and cloud systems
  • Collaborate with system administrators to support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and enterprise applications
  • Assist in integrating new technologies and systems into the network environment
  • Support onboarding/offboarding of users with proper network access controls
  • Utilize network monitoring tools to track performance, uptime, and capacity
  • Analyze network usage and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability
  • Maintain documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures
  • Work with IT vendors and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to resolve issues and implement solutions
  • Support procurement and deployment of network hardware and software
  • Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager as needed
