About The Position

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Provide first level guidance/direction to network analysts and engineers. Conduct feasibility studies on strategic and tactical plans and design of digital/analog networks. Evaluate network services and technologies for current and future network development. Perform complex technical analysis and implementation of software, hardware, and network systems; LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmissions. Architect and implement computer systems to support network operations, management, and security functions. Develop technical standards, interface applications, and testing procedures. Evaluate new products. Coordinate with vendors to identify and purchase software, hardware and cabling. Develop support procedures and create user and technical documentation. Resolve network problems.

Requirements

  • Either: (a) Bachelor's degree plus six additional years of related experience or (b) ten years total of related experience.
