About The Position

Reporting to the IT Operations Team Lead, the Information Systems Analyst plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing an organization’s information systems to improve operational efficiency and support decision-making processes. This role involves working closely with different departments to understand their technology needs, analyzing system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and recommending solutions to enhance productivity and data management. This position requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to translate business needs into technological solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in information systems analysis, systems administration, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in systems analysis methodologies, database management, and information security principles.
  • Proficiency in SQL server administration.
  • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., SQL, C#) and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, or financial systems).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Project management skills and experience in coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of IT standards, policies, and best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Epicor or similar ERP system.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Workato embedded iPaaS, Znode e-commerce, Webflow, ECM document management systems, Bartender labeling software, Powershell.

Responsibilities

  • System Analysis & Design: Evaluate, design, and implement information systems that align with organizational goals, ensuring systems are efficient and meet user requirements.
  • Data Management: Analyze and manage data flow within the systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security while providing support for data-related inquiries.
  • Systems Maintenance: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution for technical problems to minimize downtime.
  • Software Implementation: Assist in the implementation of new software or updates, including testing, training, and user support to ensure smooth integration and optimal usage.
  • User Support: Act as a liaison between IT and other departments, providing technical support, training, and troubleshooting assistance for system users.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including user guides, procedures, and technical manuals.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving current systems and processes, recommend and implement enhancements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure systems comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and security protocols to protect sensitive information.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the proper implementation and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Project Management: Manage system-related projects, including defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables, while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
  • Other duties as assigned.
