About The Position

Full Visibility is seeking a Network Administrator to work in Huntsville, VA. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance. The Network Administrator evaluates moderately complex network environments to identify and resolve obstacles impacting overall performance.They conduct site surveys independently or as part of a team and apply their findings to configure or recommend effective network solutions. In this role, the Network Administrator researches and evaluates network technologies and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products to assess the current state of client environments. Using these insights, they develop actionable recommendations to ensure networks remain aligned with leading industry standards. They are responsible for designing and planning moderately complex network systems, including recommending the resources required to maintain expected service levels. The Network Administrator communicates network architectures through clear, well-documented diagrams and technical documentation. Additionally, they support the execution of projects with limited complexity, conduct feasibility studies, and contribute to the development of technical standards. They troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex network issues while managing deliverables and consistently meeting established deadlines.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance/with SCI eligibility
• This position may require the successful completion of a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience or in lieu of education eight (8) years of experience.
• A relevant industry certification, such as COMPTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), etc.
• Configured and managed products from major networking equipment and firewall vendors
• Expertise in the maintenance of networking Layer 2 and Layer 3 devices and policies
• Use of automated methods to deploy and maintain switches and firewalls
• Experience maintaining firewall appliances and firewall rules
• Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and support changes to network including cable infrastructure, network monitoring software, firmware and hardware.
• Evaluation and testing of network equipment
• Maintenance of network systems and equipment
