Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 or more years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with less than 2 years of experience. Additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Hands-on experience administering multiple small, complex network environments.
  • Active Security+, or equivalent certification.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a classified collateral environment / SCI.
  • Network Administrator experience in a similarly sized organization.
  • Understanding of network concepts, Type 1 encryption devices (e.g., TACLANE), and cybersecurity tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive network engineering support, including planning, design, maintenance, and operational oversight.
  • Evaluate network and LAN components, recommending new technologies to enhance capabilities.
  • Support daily on-site Government personnel and DOD classified.
  • Maintain knowledge of enhanced tactical capabilities and contribute to CUG lifecycle development.
  • Conduct periodic security testing, assist with accreditation/certification documentation, and implement system upgrades.
  • Perform LAN maintenance, switch configuration updates, and ensure all changes align with baseline standards.
  • Develop solutions to complex technical problems and communicate practices/procedures across Government agencies and contractor teams.
  • Perform Information Assurance and Certification of critical systems, advising customers during policy reviews to ensure compliance with security requirements.
