About The Position

The Krusteaz Company is seeking a Network Administrator to join the IT Operations team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of IT Operations, Infrastructure and Security, you will play a key role in design, delivery, and management of our enterprise and industrial networks. The Network Administrator will be responsible for the daily management, security, and performance of our enterprise network environment. While the primary focus is on core networking, this role ensures high-availability connectivity for our 24x7 manufacturing and logistics facilities, supporting a mobile workforce and real-time inventory systems. Requirements

  • Proven success in managing enterprise networks.
  • Hands-on experience configuring wireless controllers and access points for industrial or large-scale warehouse environments.
  • Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and WPA3 wireless standards.
  • Understanding of SASE and SD-WAN architecture and firewall management.
  • Ability to function effectively as a change agent and problem solver within your team and across IT and the business.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to think critically, problem solve, and articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or comparative relative experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in network administration with a primary focus on Cisco hardware and software.

Nice To Haves

  • Ruckus networks preferred.
  • Palo Alto networks preferred.
  • CCNA preferred.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst switches, ISR/ASR routers, and Palo Alto SD-WAN architecture to ensure uptime across the corporate landscape.
  • Administer hybrid cloud connectivity, including Azure Virtual Networks, subnets, and Network Security Groups.
  • Manage Microsoft Entra ID for identity-driven network access, SSO integrations, and secure VM networking.
  • Optimize Ruckus enterprise wireless infrastructure to support handheld scanners and mobile devices, focusing on fast roaming (802.11r/k/v), RF site survey remediation, and mitigating interference in high-rack environments.
  • Support the convergence of IT and Operations Technology (OT) by maintaining industrial network segmentation, supporting PLC connectivity, and securing the industrial DMZ.
  • Manage identity-based access control and implement Zero-Trust policies for both corporate users and ruggedized warehouse devices.
  • Utilize tools like Solarwinds and Splunk to automate routine tasks and perform predictive troubleshooting.
  • Partner with the broader IT team and other departments to support diverse projects, provide technical guidance for non‑network initiatives, and assist with general IT tasks as needed to ensure organizational success.
