About The Position

Network Administrator - Atlanta Metro Area The Network Administrator (Level II or III) supports and advances the organization’s IT infrastructure and network environments in alignment with business and operational needs. The Company is seeking candidates with a range of experience to fill this role, with the final level determined based on qualifications. At the mid‑level (II), this position supports company projects requiring IT infrastructure and serves as the primary point of contact for all OT network communications, working closely with System Administrators to ensure network, firewall, virtualization, and storage environments effectively support organizational initiatives. At the senior level (III), the role provides overall design leadership, management, and strategic direction for the organization’s network and infrastructure environments, leading major infrastructure projects, establishing standards and best practices, and ensuring systems are secure. Successful candidates at either level bring the technical expertise to design, manage, plan, and coordinate IT initiatives within a collaborative, team‑based environment.

Requirements

  • Routing & switching
  • Firewalls (palo Alto, Cisco, Barracuda)
  • Virtualization (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V)
  • Certifications (CCNA, PCNSA, etc.) preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years network administration experience or 5 years' experience alone.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise IT infrastructure systems.
  • Architect, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routing, switching, and wireless networks.
  • Administer next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Barracuda), including high availability, VPNs, and security policy management.
  • Design and maintain virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V).
  • Oversee storage systems, replication, and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Lead network and infrastructure projects from planning through implementation.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and deploy new technologies to improve performance, resilience, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with Systems and Cybersecurity teams to maintain a secure and reliable environment.
  • Respond to escalated support requests and complex infrastructure issues.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical systems.
