We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven professional to join our team as an Network Analyst. This role is responsible for working with the Network Systems Manager and members of the Xanterra IT department.

Requirements

  • Must possess 2+ years of related experience in dealing with network and network security technologies, protocols and products.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to plan and problem solve.
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of network and network security protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology or Information Security.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar
  • Prior experience working with Cisco , Meraki and Palo alto products.
  • Strong understanding of networking and network security protocols
  • Hands-on experience configuring router, switches and Firewalls
  • Experience deploying, maintaining and managing wireless infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve tickets assigned to the network team
  • Analyze and resolve network issues and outages
  • Support users with network access and connectivity issues
  • Perform regular network maintenance and updates
  • Ensure compliance with network and security standards
  • Monitor network performance
  • Serve in an on-call capacity for after-hours/non-business hours support when assigned or as needed to remediate Information Security incidents.
  • Assist IT operations staff, corporate IT employees, property-level IT employees, and the user community as a whole in resolving technical issues related to Network systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
