About The Position

Network Administrator Lead III (Training Network) Senior Onsite in Hohenfels, Germany Responsibilities include; but not limited to: Leads ongoing J10, JNN and JNTC network support, addresses availability issues, overcomes performance problems. Installs, maintains, and coordinates the use of network systems. Manages network performance, diagnoses performance problems, and undertakes tuning activities to ensure network performance meets SLA requirements. Troubleshoots and resolves problems to ensure quality transmission service on the network. Reports on overall network performance including frequent problems, underlying issues and plans to improve network availability, performance, and problem resolution. Trains users, maintains, creates, and deletes user accounts. Manages and updates system security plans on all platforms. Creates, implements and coordinates network policies, procedures, and standards. Enforces network security policies and procedures. Degree(s)/Years of Experience: (10+BA/BS or 5+MA/MS) or (14+AA/No Degree). Certification(s): 8570 DoD Certification Experience: Experience leading ongoing J10, JNN, and JNTC network support, addressing availability issues and overcoming performance problems. Experience managing network performance, diagnosing performance problems, and undertaking tuning activities to ensure network performance meets SLA requirements. Requirements

  • (10+BA/BS or 5+MA/MS) or (14+AA/No Degree)
  • 8570 DoD Certification
  • Experience leading ongoing J10, JNN, and JNTC network support, addressing availability issues and overcoming performance problems.
  • Skilled in installing, maintaining, and coordinating the use of network systems.
  • Experience managing network performance, diagnosing performance problems, and undertaking tuning activities to ensure network performance meets SLA requirements.
