Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared Network Administrator - Junior to support this mission at Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina . Responsibilities: As a Network Administrator - Junior you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include: Applies fundamental networking concepts (e.g., routing, switching, firewalls) to assist in diagnostic capabilities for C2ISR Data Transport Infrastructure network challenges. Performs basic end-to-end infrastructure testing and connectivity verification for network segments, executing pre-defined tests and documenting results. Monitors network performance and availability using standard network monitoring tools, identifying and reporting alerts related to transport infrastructure outages. Assists with initial network troubleshooting for common issues like packet loss, latency, or device unreachable errors, following established procedures. Contributes to proactive monitoring efforts by ensuring network device status is correctly reported and alerts are acknowledged. Works under direct supervision, focusing on executing routine diagnostic tasks and developing foundational knowledge of C2ISR network troubleshooting methodologies. SolarWinds, packet analyzers, SNMP, and command-line diagnostics, packet capture analysis (e.g., Wireshark) Service Desk ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy); network diagramming software (Visio, Lucidchart ).

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Network Administrator or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the C CMD leve l
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a BS/BA or 0 years’ experience with a MS/MA or 6 years’ experience with no degree .
  • A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
  • US citizenship
  • DoD 8140 role for WRC: 441; Element: IT; Work Role: Network Operations Specialist; Proficiency Level: Basic / Ability to obtain

Nice To Haves

  • DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.
