About The Position

Synergy3 is seeking a NetSuite Developer to own the technical performance and reliability of our ERP environment. This role focuses on diagnosing complex system issues, designing scalable solutions, and implementing automation that improves business operations. You'll work directly with the CTO in a structured environment where proposed solutions are reviewed prior to production deployment to ensure system integrity and long-term scalability.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite and SuiteScript (1.0 and 2.x)
  • Strong JavaScript skills (ES6+), including asynchronous programming
  • Experience with SuiteQL and Saved Searches
  • Ability to follow structured change management and approval workflows
  • Must be able to work on-site in Philadelphia, PA

Nice To Haves

  • NetSuite integrations (RESTlets, SOAP, REST APIs)
  • Node.js or backend integration experience
  • Background in ERP systems, architecture, or technical support

Responsibilities

  • Investigate & Resolve System Issues
  • Analyze NetSuite logs, script execution behavior, and system errors
  • Troubleshoot SuiteScript issues across User Event, Client, Scheduled, and Map/Reduce scripts
  • Recreate reported problems and identify root causes
  • Design Technical Solutions
  • Develop SuiteScript (2.x) and JavaScript-based enhancements
  • Document proposed solutions with clear summaries, risk considerations, and expected outcomes
  • Validate all changes in a sandbox environment before approval
  • Implement Improvements & Automations
  • Deploy approved code and workflow updates to production
  • Build automations that streamline processes and reduce manual errors
  • Support data integrity through validation and system controls
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Provide clear updates on issue status and resolutions
  • Work closely with leadership on system improvements
