• Specialty: Neonatology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Waterloo, IA • Service Setting: Inpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period:ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Call only • Shifts needed to be filled: -Up to 16 shifts per month • Call Schedule: 24hr Call • Call Type: Beeper • Patient Demographics: Neonates ≥28 weeks gestation • Patient Volume: -Average daily NICU census: 6.3 • Rounding included: Yes • Physician in Practice: 2 • Beds in the Dept: 10-bed Level III NICU (capacity up to 12 short-term) • Trauma Level: Level III NICU • EMR: Epic • Medical Imaging: Available• Lab & Pharmacy: Available • Other Info: -Integrated NICU model within LDRP -Infants remain with family unless unstable • Hospital Privileges required: Yes • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active IA License or Active IMLC (LOQ required at name clear)
- BC or Truly Board Eligible
- Fellowship Trained in Neonatology
- Clean Malpractice/Background History (recent NPDB required)
- Hospital Privileges required
