Overview Provide Quality Care and Leadership in Washington Wine Country! Responsibilities Serve as Medical Director for the Yakima NICU . This role comes with a $35,000 annual leadership stipend and provides the chance to guide a vital regional program serving rural families across South Central Washington. The Medical Director will maintain a full complement of core Neonatology clinical duties while also providing administrative and strategic leadership to support the growth and stability of the practice. Recruitment & team development Quality initiatives and program development Business and operational oversight Community and regional representation About the Practice MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital (MYMH) is home to a 15-bed Level IIIA NICU serving as the regional perinatal center for Yakima County and several surrounding counties. It is the only Level III NICU within a 70‑mile radius , providing indispensable support to multiple rural and critical access hospitals. 2500 deliveries annually ADC of about 5 patients Currently offering conventional mechanical ventilation and bubble CPAP Speech/Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists provide consultation, neurodevelopmental assessments, and recommendations for developmentally supportive therapies.
