Specialty: Neonatology Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Spartanburg, SC Service Setting: Inpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing Coverage Type: Call Only Call Schedule: 24 -hour coverage Call Type: Beeper Patient Demographics: Neonates (NICU and well -baby population) Patient Volume: 25 - 29 Annual Deliveries: 3400 - 3900 Annual NICU Admissions: 370 - 400 Case Mix: - Level III NICU acuity - High -risk neonatal cases - Well -baby care Procedures: - High -frequency ventilation - Hypothermia therapy - General neonatal critical care management Rounding: - NICU - Well -baby - 2/4 weeks Required to Supervise APPs: Yes Support Staff: NNPs Physician in Practice: 3 FM residency & MFM group Specialty Backup: Cardiology, Surgery, Ophthalmology, MFM Beds in the Dept.: 35 NICU Level: III Hospital Privileges: Required Temporary Privileges: Available Travel, lodging, & malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- BC
- SC license
- Min. of 1 year post fellowship experience
- Min. of 6 months clinical experience
- Current NPDB report
