Requirements

Are at least 18 years old
Possess a high school diploma or GED
Have a minimum of one year's experience in preschool teaching
Hold a Bachelor's Degree
Be actively pursuing either NC Birth through Kindergarten (B-K) or Preschool Add-on Standard Professional II licensure
Qualifications must include one of the following: an NC Initial Provisional Lateral Entry B-K License, a North Carolina K-6 license with a provisional Preschool Add-on license, a license from another state accompanied by an NC Provisional B-K license, or a degree in a related field that qualifies you for an NC Initial Provisional Lateral Entry B-K License

Responsibilities

Oversee classroom activities, adhering to standards set by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education, and aligning with the objectives of the current NC Pre-K Curriculum.
Create a nurturing and positive environment for our children and their families, fostering strong bonds and supporting their comprehensive development.
Design and execute learning experiences that encompass a broad range of developmental areas including physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, and creative expression.
Conduct regular assessments to monitor the children's progress towards School Readiness Goals.
Tailor the curriculum to meet the individual needs of each child, including those with disabilities.
Uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring a secure and clean environment by adhering to strict procedures for hygiene, food handling, illness management, and child supervision.
