The successful candidate collaborates closely with the NAVAIR Navy ERP Business office (NBO) leadership to provide strategic guidance for the planning and implementation of Navy ERP SAP S4/Hana (ERP+) at NAVAIR.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (MS/MA)
  • 8 -10 desired years of experience.
  • Direct experience in SAP S4/Hana migrations
  • “As Is/To Be” Process Design Experience.
  • Translate functional requirements to system requirements.
  • Requirements testing.
  • Direct experience working in an Agile software development environment.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data system.
  • Travel to Patuxent River Naval Air Station or the National Capitol Region for onsite participation in key meetings and workshops.

  • ECC to S4/Hana migration experience is highly desired

  • Project Management expertise
  • Working knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Data migration and integration expertise (preferably data being converted to S/4 Hana)
  • Can effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, from top management to end-users.
  • Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Possesses both analytical and interpersonal skills. Good problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills/techniques.
  • Business Partner/Effective Communicator: English language skills to communicate with all levels of the organizational structure, including Command leadership. Strong communicator must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and orally. Ability to train, lead projects, and direct employees. Customer service oriented, detail focused, pro-active behavior, multi-task capability.
  • Software: Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Computer, printer, copy machine, and other general office equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and advise the NBO of issues/concerns that may impact the NAVAIR user’s ability to conduct successful transactions within the Navy ERP+ product.
  • Understand NAVAIR’s processes and assist with the development “as is/to be” processes.
  • Assist in the assessment of the proposed S4/Hana configuration and the impact to current processes.
  • Identify and analyze potential migration risks and present solutions for mitigation.
  • Assess proposed organizational restructuring and advise NBO leadership of potential issues.
