National Workforce Development Training Specialist Dallas, Texas, United States Are you a smart, proactive problem-solver who thrives on building great workplaces? This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll help shape the employee experience and streamline HR operations. The Role Reporting directly to our Corporate Manager of Quality & Training, you’ll be a trusted partner to train staff all across the United States. The Corporate Training Specialist provides training and guidance to local operational staff (job-specific skills training, eligibility/enrollment training, procedure training, approval training, corrections training, etc.) and is responsible to ensure all corporate training systems are utilized and adhered to. This role is primarily remote, with periodic travel to our local offices across the country.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of training and/or quality/performance training, preferably across multiple states
  • At least 3 years of experience in workforce development, specifically with WIOA programs (ideally, SNAP, TANF, etc. program experience, as well)
  • Solid understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Experience developing and implementing training workshops, activities, etc.
  • Proficiency in facilitation and educational best practices
  • A hands-on, “get it done” mindset — you’re comfortable balancing strategy with execution

Responsibilities

  • Work to improve organizational efficiencies via training Leadership and Supervisors on customer flow, approval processes, policy, etc.
  • Provide training and coaching to project staff to assist with meeting performance and contractual goals; provide corrections training to staff, as needed.
  • Facilitate job-specific related training, based on the needs of the Operation.
  • Provide monthly report on all Operations based on quality results, training initiatives, and support strategies; work with Corporate Quality & Training Manager to review performance data for trends, provide technical assistance for identification areas of non-compliance/low performance.
  • Participate in pre-audit reviews of projects that include working with local team to review files, assess risk, evaluate process gaps and prepare for a successful audit
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all new local, state and federal guidance and provide feedback on the implications to the Project Director and QPTs and make recommendations for revisions, as necessary.
  • Specialize in WIOA-training; workforce expertise required.
