About The Position

KWTX and KBTX are seeking a highly motivated, highly organized National Sales Manager who will lead National Sales for both stations. The National Sales Manager will work with National buyers to negotiate and maintain buys and handle National political advertising for both stations. Work location in Waco or Bryan offices.

Requirements

• Demonstrated history in National Sales
• Strong organizational, written, and presentation skills
• College degree preferred
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
• Experience in Wide Orbit Traffic and Wide Orbit Media Sales
• Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships
• Competitive, persuasive, energetic, and self-motivated traits
• Ability to overcome objections
• Enjoys a fast-paced environment and has a desire to win
• Professional appearance is a must
• Must possess a valid driver's license, good driving record, and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Work with media buyers to negotiate, maintain, and execute National buys on all stations under KWTX and KBTX
• Provide a high level of customer service to our National buyers to maintain and grow share
• Work closely with National Sales Assistants to ensure a high level of service is being provided, including makegoods, inventory management, pre/post logs, posting, and other reports as needed
• Works in conjunction with the Telemundo national team to facilitate National buys
• Handle National political advertising for the station
