About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions is currently looking to hire a National Sales Director (Industrial) to join our sales force. Amerit Fleet Solutions is an innovative and growth-focused company that has been servicing the largest, most complex fleets in North America since 2010. Since then, Amerit has grown to become the nation’s largest provider of dedicated fleet maintenance and management services, with an average growth rate of approximately 40% per year since 2016. What the role looks like: The National Sales Director (NSD) will be an experienced hunter who will break into new large accounts within a defined set of targets coupled with a defined territory. Our NSD will be a strong individual contributor, responsible for the full sales cycle including managing his/her own opportunity pipeline. This is a remote-based position. Requirements

  • A proven track record of strong and strategic Hunting experience
  • A minimum 5+ years of field or outside sales experience from hunting to closing (full sales cycle)
  • Experience with industrial sales (i.e. manufacturing, construction, utility, petrochem, etc )
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills, presentation skills, written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • The flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay motivated
  • Proven ability to make strong connections and overcome rejection to achieve results

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting for new business
  • Growing existing accounts
  • Proven ability to break into challenging accounts and close large deals
  • Experience selling service solutions to C-level decision makers
  • Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and company leadership
  • Demonstrate abilities to take ownership of business, prospect for leads, and close sales
  • An extensive amount of prospecting, cold calling, face-to face meetings and client presentations.
  • Get prospective clients excited about our services while leveraging existing network and resources like LinkedIn and networking events to hunt for new business opportunities
  • This position will be working remotely from a home office but will require time to meet with decision-makers and influencers from the target national account list, coupled with prospects within the assigned territory.
