About The Position

The position exists to sell Ryder Rental services to a broader untapped market, increase revenue & profitable growth. The role involves retaining current customers by contacting them via telephone and selling relevant services. The Manager of Inside Accounts – National Rental will be responsible for non-assigned national rental accounts, with targets for revenue, quota, and profit. Ryder operates behind the scenes, managing critical fleet, transportation, and supply chain functions for over 50,000 customers, many of whom make products consumers use daily. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree Business/Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) years or more experience successful sales experience
  • Three (3) years or more experience selling in a B2B environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated sales aptitude, assertive, persistent, good listener, self-motivated, excellent closing skills
  • Good mathematical abilities
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mature and self confident with the ability to work under pressure
  • Must be goal-oriented and able to reach and exceed monthly/yearly quotas
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
  • Excellent PC skills: MS Office, Excel, Word Internet; advanced level.

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) years or more experience prior inside sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Implement sales strategies/call prioritization to achieve revenue & targets
  • Initiate sales calls to existing national rental customers
  • Sell the National rental product line and other services
  • Contact National Rental customers to sell Ryder services
  • Provide Rental leads
  • Grow Rental accounts and convert them to National Rental CDM accts
  • Establish and maintain good customer relations, with both internal and external customers
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
