About The Position

In this dynamic leadership role, you will oversee nationwide mortgage operations, managing the end-to-end loan lifecycle and leading a high-performing processing team. You will collaborate closely with underwriting, sales, and product teams to ensure pipeline accuracy, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer experiences. The role requires a hands-on approach, solving bottlenecks, designing scalable processes, and coaching team members to success. You will implement systems and workflows that increase productivity, maintain quality standards, and drive measurable outcomes. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in mortgage operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Deep knowledge of the full loan lifecycle, including processing, underwriting, and closing workflows.
  • Proven experience managing teams responsible for pipeline movement, file quality, and customer communications.
  • Familiarity with Agency, FHA, VA, Non-QM, construction-to-perm, and renovation loan products.
  • Strong proficiency with loan origination systems (LOS) and operational dashboards.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Hands-on, proactive leadership style with a focus on coaching and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage nationwide mortgage processing teams, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Oversee the full loan lifecycle, ensuring files progress efficiently from application to closing.
  • Troubleshoot complex loan files and resolve bottlenecks to maintain pipeline flow and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Loan Officers, Underwriting, and Product teams to maintain timely and accurate loan files.
  • Develop and refine workflows, checklists, and procedures to optimize operational efficiency and reduce friction.
  • Monitor key operational metrics and provide regular reporting to executive leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with agency, investor, and internal renovation lending guidelines.
  • Drive accountability and operational excellence while supporting team growth and development.
