About The Position

The Marketing Manager is a multi-state, national role responsible for owning marketing strategy, proposal support, brand governance, and marketing execution across multiple offices and regions. This position works directly with a Principal and senior leadership to ensure consistent messaging, high-quality proposal delivery, and marketing initiatives that support revenue growth, recruiting, and long-term business development. This role requires strong coordination across offices, comfort working with technical teams, and the ability to translate complex environmental and engineering services into clear, compelling messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in professional services, engineering, construction, or technical industries.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting proposals and business development initiatives.
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across offices and regions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common marketing tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with environmental consulting is a plus.
  • Experience in AEC, environmental, or engineering consulting firms.
  • Experience working in a multi-office or national organization.
  • Familiarity with CRM, ATS, or proposal management systems.
  • Ability to translate technical or regulatory content into client-focused messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with national business objectives.
  • Own and enforce brand consistency across all offices, divisions, and affiliated companies.
  • Serve as the primary steward of Earth Systems’ marketing standards, messaging, and visual identity.
  • Support growth initiatives, rebranding efforts, and integration of new offices or services.
  • Own and manage proposal strategy, layout, messaging, and quality control for RFQs, RFPs, and SOQs.
  • Maintain proposal templates, resumes, project descriptions, and marketing boilerplate.
  • Collaborate with Principals, project managers, and business development staff to position services competitively.
  • Ensure proposal materials support revenue generation and strategic growth goals.
  • Manage and update website content, including service lines, project highlights, and career pages.
  • Oversee social media strategy and content across platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Develop campaigns to support recruiting, project wins, and new service offerings.
  • Track performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach and engagement.
  • Partner with HR to support national recruiting initiatives through branding and outreach.
  • Strengthen employer brand messaging to attract technical, field, and leadership talent.
  • Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives as needed.
  • Create and maintain presentations, brochures, one-pagers, and digital assets.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, including designers, printers, and web developers.
  • Maintain organized marketing asset libraries and ensure version control.
