We are seeking a dynamic National Field Sales Manager to lead and scale a high-performing sales team across the United States. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, requiring up to 75% of time spent in the field to drive onboarding, coaching, and deal support. You will establish workflows, performance standards, and daily operational rhythms to ensure consistent revenue growth and team excellence. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will guide your team through complex B2B sales cycles, support high-stakes negotiations, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration. The ideal candidate thrives in a “build” environment, enjoys leading from the front, and is passionate about scaling teams to deliver measurable business impact. Success is measured by revenue attainment, team performance, and the adoption of innovative sales processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience in technology, B2B services, call center operations, or automotive/roadside assistance
  • Proven experience leading teams, establishing processes, or launching territory/start-up operations
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales quotas and operational excellence
  • Exceptional relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and the ability to leverage sales data to optimize workflows and pipeline management
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 75% to support field operations and client meetings
  • Strong problem-solving skills and financial literacy to assist the team in structuring profitable solutions

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale a newly formed sales team, establishing foundational workflows, coaching rhythms, and performance standards
  • Spend significant time in the field to support onboarding, guide complex deals, and model best practices as a “Player-Coach”
  • Execute sales campaigns and drive adoption of technology and service solutions across the national client base
  • Monitor KPIs, pipeline activity, and performance metrics to ensure monthly and quarterly revenue targets are met
  • Implement training and development programs to accelerate new hire onboarding and improve team capabilities
  • Conduct regular performance management including goal setting, coaching, and 1:1 reviews to maintain a high-performing team
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Marketing teams to provide necessary support and resources for sales success
  • Support high-stakes client negotiations, ensuring team deals close successfully and strategically
