About The Position

The ideal candidate for this position would be located near one of the following office locations: Lenexa, Kansas, West Des Moines, Iowa, and Maple Grove, Minnesota. This position can be remote or hybrid as well. ProAg is looking for a National Education Manager to join our team who is innovative, can build relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining ProAg’s learning strategies and programs for employees, agents, adjusters, and vendors in Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI), Livestock and Private insurance products. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Education Business Administration, or a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant and proven success in a training role
  • Previous agriculture or crop insurance industry experience.
  • Experience developing and delivering formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars, webinars, and materials of a technical nature
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company's business to proactively respond to changing business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and develop solutions for skill gaps within Proag and external customers, analyzing training needs for specifics departments and teams
  • Design and implement a training program process utilizing customized delivery methods and strict evaluation standards
  • Engage audience for training purposes via different methods, including but not limited to: Text, Handouts, Exams, Web-Based self-paced training, and remote trainer-led
  • Act as a subject matter experience in the matters of ProAg proprietary software
  • Work closely with internal and external vendors in the development of software and appropriately communicate system changes to end users
  • Model ProAg’s core capabilities to achieve service excellence, meet and exceed organizational objectives, and support fiscal responsibility
