What you will do: The National Account Sales Associate– Security supports the execution and day-to-day management of Johnson Controls’ Walmart Security National Account, working directly with the Strategic Account Manager. This role is focused on account execution, coordination, and operational support to ensure consistent delivery, responsiveness, and internal alignment across Walmart’s large, multi-site security portfolio. The National Account Sales Associate plays a critical role in enabling scale by supporting pricing, service coordination, reporting, and internal communication—allowing the lead NAM to focus on strategic growth and senior customer engagement. How you will do it:

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales support, account management, or national/strategic accounts, preferably in Security, Fire, or Building Technologies.
  • Experience supporting large, multi-site enterprise customers.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM, quoting, and service management tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with security systems (Access Control, CCTV, alarms).
  • Experience supporting accounts with formal SLAs and KPI requirements.
  • Exposure to retail or national accounts environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support security sales activities across Walmart locations, including Access Control, CCTV, alarm systems, PSA services, and special projects.
  • Assist with quote development, estimate preparation, internal approvals, and Compass submissions.
  • Track and maintain pipeline, bookings, forecast updates, and account activity in required systems.
  • Support ServiceChannel workflows, including call tracking, ticket follow-up, and coordination with service and operations teams.
  • Assist with monitoring and follow-up on service KPIs, escalations, and customer issues.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution and issue resolution across regions.
  • Assist with pricing validation, rate sheets, and quick-turn requests, particularly for high-volume store projects.
  • Support documentation related to SLAs, KPIs, and account processes.
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers, and action logs to support execution consistency.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly account reporting related to security performance, service activity, and pipeline.
  • Support preparation of materials for internal reviews and customer business reviews.
  • Ensure clear communication and follow-through across Sales, Operations, Program Management, and Finance.
