About The Position

SiteOne Landscape Supply is the largest national distributor of landscaping products across the United States and Canada, serving green industry professionals who design, build, and maintain outdoor spaces. They offer a comprehensive inventory including irrigation, lighting, turf and landscape maintenance, hardscapes, nursery, and pest control supplies. SiteOne is dedicated to providing an outstanding customer experience and fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with over 700 locations and plans for expansion. The National Account Manager is a key role focused on managing relationship development, achieving sales growth goals, and developing account sales planning and strategy for SiteOne Landscape Supply’s National Contractor accounts.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a strategic sales role managing customers at a national level
  • Proven record of successful negotiating and selling skills
  • Ability to communicate a value proposition at high levels and leverage regional expertise to win profitable new business
  • Candidates be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Sales experience within the green industry is preferred, but not essential
  • Knowledge of various landscape product categories (nursery, hardscape, irrigation, etc.) is helpful, but not required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales growth and business development in national contractor accounts
  • Serve as informal leader for a cross functional team to develop sales strategies
  • Create and implement National Account Sales plans that drive share and margin in SiteOne sales
  • Lead cross functional teams to respond and win requests for proposals (RFPs)
  • Work closely with marketing, category development, procurement, and credit to ensure the customer is receiving world-class service while also ensuring SiteOne goals and objectives are achieved
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of the competition, key competitor employees, market size, and market conditions and trends within larger, more complex markets.
