National Account Manager, Hospitality (Remote) Location: Remote US Base Salary Rate: $126,684 – 149,040 per year Job type: Full-time position About This Role The National Account Sales Executive – Hospitality is responsible for driving OEM led national account growth within the hospitality vertical by positioning a single, trusted fire and life safety manufacturer as the preferred enterprise partner across multisite portfolios. This role focuses on top down, influence based selling, targeting hotel brands, ownership groups, REITs, and management companies to create national specifications, preferred vendor programs, and lifecycle strategies that pull product, services, and solutions through the channel ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a seasoned hunter with a proven track record selling national fire and life safety programs, deep hospitality relationships, and the executive presence to influence C-suite and brand level decision makers. This individual understands where capital budgets, refresh cycles, and compliance driven projects originate—and how to align OEM value to those initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ fire and life safety sales, with strong emphasis on OEM-led or manufacturer-driven national accounts
  • Proven success selling enterprise level fire and life safety products and solutions through an influence-based sales model
  • Deep, established relationships within the hospitality vertical (brands, ownership groups, REITs, operators, or management companies)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify where and how capital and service budgets are set at the enterprise level
  • Strong understanding of fire alarm and life safety systems, codes, and compliance requirements as they apply to hospitality environments
  • Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationally

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience in fire and life safety sales, with a strong emphasis on OEM led or manufacturer driven national accounts.
  • Experience establishing national specifications or preferred manufacturer agreements.
  • Familiarity with hospitality brand standards, PIP requirements, and owner/operator approval processes.
  • Background working with multisite modernization, service, and lifecycle programs.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce or similar).
  • NICET or OEM technical certifications

Responsibilities

  • OEM-Led National Account Strategy
  • Identify, develop, and close new national hospitality accounts through an OEM led, specification driven sales approach.
  • Establish preferred manufacturer status, national standards, or enterprise alignment agreements with hotel brands, ownership groups, and management companies.
  • Drive product and solution pull through by influencing design standards, brand requirements, and lifecycle strategies across national portfolios.
  • Build long term, strategic relationships that extend beyond individual projects to multiyear national programs.
  • Executive & C-Suite Engagement
  • Lead C-level and senior executive presentations that clearly articulate the value of partnering directly with an OEM led fire and life safety provider, including:
  • National consistency and standardization
  • Risk reduction and code compliance confidence
  • Brand protection and guest safety
  • Simplified vendor and lifecycle management
  • Longterm total cost of ownership benefits
  • Translate technical fire and life safety requirements into business focused outcomes for executive stakeholders.
  • Serve as the executive face of the manufacturer for assigned hospitality accounts.
  • Hospitality Market Intelligence & Project Origination
  • Maintain strong visibility into active and upcoming capital, renovation, retrofit, and service budgets across hospitality portfolios.
  • Identify early-stage opportunities tied to:
  • Brand refresh cycles
  • Property renovations and PIPs
  • Code driven upgrades and obsolescence
  • M&A and portfolio acquisitions
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers on future state life safety strategy, not just current state projects.
  • Channel Enablement & Internal Collaboration
  • Partner closely with authorized integrators, service providers, and internal OEM teams to ensure successful execution of national programs.
  • Align sales efforts with engineering, design, project management, service, and product teams to deliver scalable, repeatable solutions.
  • Ensure seamless handoff from national account strategy → channel execution, maintaining accountability and customer confidence.
  • Provide voice of customer feedback to influence product roadmap, service offerings, and OEM program development.
  • Industry Leadership & Visibility
  • Represent the organization at national hospitality trade shows, vertical focused conferences, and executive networking events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within hospitality industry associations and leadership forums.
  • Position the OEM as a thought leader in fire and life safety within the hospitality vertical.
