This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company and make a significant impact managing large, major foodservice customers across the West Coast About the Role We are seeking a results-driven National Account Manager – Foodservice with a progressive career track, entrepreneurial mentality, and ability to build strong partnerships to manage and grow large national foodservice customers, distributors, and brokers within the West Coast territory. You will be responsible for driving profitable growth, developing strategic plans, and executing initiatives with key accounts. This role requires the ability to work independently from a home office while traveling 50–70% within your territory

Requirements

  • 5–15 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in bakery or foodservice with consumable products
  • Proven ability to deliver aggressive sales results at a national account level
  • A progressive career track with an entrepreneurial mentality, able to build strong partnerships and drive initiatives independently
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to plan, execute, and evaluate strategic marketing and sales initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and BRC standards
  • Ability to work independently from a home office and travel extensively (50–70%)

Responsibilities

  • Build strong partnerships with large/major national foodservice accounts, distributors, and brokers to drive growth
  • Lead the development of new business opportunities and grow Bridor’s sales and profits
  • Develop and coordinate short-term and long-term strategies for West Coast national distributors and aligned brokers
  • Build and maintain contacts at multiple levels within assigned accounts and GPOs to influence decisions
  • Communicate strategies and plans for distributor, broker, GPO, and national customer management to Directors and Regional Sales Managers
  • Drive the sales process from start to finish, managing all aspects of account growth
  • Track and analyze sales statistics using key quantitative metrics
  • Plan, execute, evaluate, and present customer-specific marketing initiatives and R&D projects
  • Develop annual business plans for customers to maximize opportunities and drive profitable growth
  • Analyze category, industry, and competitive trends to proactively recommend strategies
  • Initiate, communicate, and see to fruition major projects, product rollouts, and promotions
