About The Position

3M is seeking a National Account Director to lead the U.S. and Canada Consumer Business for Walmart and Sam’s Club. This strategic, results‑driven sales leader will drive growth across multiple brand portfolios through strong negotiation, analytical capability, and cross‑functional collaboration. The role is responsible for building and sustaining relationships with Walmart and Sam’s Club while managing major 3M brands including Filtrete™, Command™, Scotch®, Post‑it®, Scotch‑Brite®, ACE, ScotchBlue™, and 3M Safety. Here, you will make an impact by: Lead a team of Sales Account Managers, Business Analysts, and Replenishment Managers to deliver against key account objectives Drive growth, profitability, and strategic account performance Influence cross‑functional partners across Supply Chain, Analytics, Marketing, and Category teams Manage sales forecasts, monthly goals, promotional budgets, and performance targets Guide line reviews and all internal and external customer‑focused meetings Build strong stakeholder relationships Lead Customer Operating Plans, Joint Business Plans, and Quarterly Business Reviews Company Vehicle This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Twelve (12) years of experience in Key Account Sales for regional and national chain accounts, including leadership or team management responsibility
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience calling on national key accounts
  • Knowledge of customer‑ and dealer‑centric tools
  • Demonstrated strength in sales leadership, with a proven ability to deliver results, meet objectives, and drive strategic negotiation and planning
  • Experience with Analytics and Supply Chain preferred
