The director of National Accounts is responsible for managing, consulting with, and supporting corporate accounts within the HPSI membership. Additionally, this role is responsible for revenue growth through expansion of vendor contacts within current accounts and new business development. Position Reports to SVP National Accounts, HPSIJob Responsibilities Analyze account needs and provide value-added solutions for their operations Work with vendors, associations, and HPSI affiliate partners to develop and implement strategies to uncover new opportunities and focus Create and implement effective business development strategies Manage the pipeline/sales funnel to ensure opportunities to book to consistently maintain sales expectations Meet regularly with vendors to understand the value of their products and services that would be beneficial for HPSI accounts A member of the HPSI management team and Responsible for revenue growth Collaborate with and support HPSI purchasing consultants Create and implement effective business development strategies for a specific territory Manage the pipeline/sales funnel to ensure opportunities to book to consistently maintain sales expectations. Set the sales strategy for how HPSI will win large sales opportunities, with new and existing members Analyze customer needs and present value-added solutions to key National Account members. Observe, train, and actively develop capabilities and skills to prepare for increased travel, business reviews, management and execution of larger projects, and other functions and responsibilities of a National Account Manager.
