About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining constant surveillance of patrons in the facility and acting immediately and appropriately to ensure their safety during emergencies. It requires providing emergency care and treatment until medical services arrive. The role also involves presenting a professional appearance and attitude, maintaining high standards of customer service, and performing various maintenance duties to keep the facility clean and safe. Key responsibilities include daily maintenance of pool equipment and the deck, providing event support such as equipment setup/removal and customer service, and ensuring adherence to safety standards for aquatics operations, including surveillance and assistance in emergency situations for the competition pool and dive well.

Requirements

• Must have CPR for professional rescuer
• Must have lifeguard training
• Must have first aid
• Must attach ASIST schedule and current certifications

Nice To Haves

• Certifications through the American Red Cross
• One-year life-guarding experience
• At least one reference

Responsibilities

• Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility.
• Acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
• Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.
• Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Daily maintenance of pool equipment and deck.
• Event support including equipment set-up/removal and customer service.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards for aquatics operations including surveillance and assistance in emergency situations for competition pool and dive well.
