Nanny for a Family in Dunwoody

Georgia's Dream Nannies, Inc.Dunwoody, GA
10d$30 - $35

About The Position

A busy and active family in Dunwoody is seeking a high-energy, dependable nanny to care for their three children (ages 9, 6, and 3) on a part-time afternoon schedule of 15–20 hours per week, typically 3–4 days per week. The core hours begin with school pickup around 3:30 PM (school is less than a mile from home), followed by transporting the children to local extracurricular activities, assisting with homework, and helping to establish smooth and consistent evening routines, typically wrapping up by 7 PM. There is an opportunity for additional hours earlier in the day for candidates interested in assisting with household management tasks prior to school pickup. The ideal candidate is confident, proactive, and able to jump right in without needing micromanagement—someone who brings positive energy while also respecting the family’s structured environment and boundaries. The household maintains low screen time and values engagement, creativity, and activity. In addition to childcare, responsibilities include light household support such as loading/unloading the dishwasher, laundry, wiping counters, meal prep/cooking, checking school bags for the next day, putting away groceries, organizing children’s spaces and closets, and occasional household organization projects. The family is looking for someone who can truly partner with them in managing their home and supporting their children’s routines. A safe driver is required (family car provided), along with strong swimming skills for time spent at the neighborhood pool. CPR certification is required, and the nanny must be comfortable managing a nut allergy (including use of an EpiPen if needed). This position would be a great fit for a responsible nanny seeking a long-term role. Occasional date nights and potential for additional hours or overnights are a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are welcomed but not required. Compensation is $30–$35/hour depending on experience.
