Under direct supervision, sells products, services, and supplies to selected customers in a designated market area or accounts via inbound or outbound telephone contacts. Closes sales on assigned products or may generate leads for outside sales staff. May have account responsibility with quota. Proactively sells to the installed base in support of company promotion and upgrade campaigns. Collaborate with and support field sales. Limited field activity may occur, but only infrequently. Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Requires strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
  • Some knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knows some principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Effective at written and verbal communication.
  • Has basic user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
