About The Position

The Contractual Services Senior Commercial Proposals Manager New Units MYA/MMP (CM) will report to the Regional Contractual Services ITO Director with a dotted line to the MYA NU Leader and is required to drive functional and operational Commercial Intensity and deal underwriting (Policy 5.0) rigor for assigned deal opportunities. In this role you will manage the MYA Term Sheet and Contract generation for New Unit Opportunities. Engaging with our customer during contract negotiation, and the commercial/sales to operations/project management (ITO to OTR) turnover processes for the assigned New Unit deal opportunities. You'll be responsible for work that is less defined in scope and have the understanding and experience to execute business objectives, be involved in short-term and long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy. This role will support and foster a culture of Lean thinking to drive sustainable business standards and sustainable improvement to increase process capability

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline from an accredited university or college
• Minimum 3 years of Commercial and/or Contract Performance Manager (CPM) experience within the Power Generation business, Aircraft Engines and/or Energy Industry
• Minimum 2 years of Experience within both Multi-Year Contractual and Transactional Services businesses

Responsibilities

• Work as a key member of the North America Pole Services commercial & operations (ITR) teams in support of achieving the multi-year service agreements for New Units (MYA and MMP) business lines objectives.
• Working with the MYA NU Leader together with functional teams including Subject Matter Experts (SME), lead the commercial (ITO) process for the New Unit Multi Year Agreements (MYA and MMP) across the North America (NAM) region.
• Be responsible for effectively driving the proposal and contract commercial (ITO) processes to develop scope, cost, risk, cycle time and for an assigned deal opportunity to provide technical and commercial solutions that meet both customer and GEV's requirements and business goals.
• Be responsible for driving and coordinating commercial (ITO) process compliance and metrics across assigned deal opportunities with special emphasis on Policy 5.0 deal underwriting requirements, proposal and contract completeness, timeliness, quality, and the effectiveness and efficiency of the commercial/sales to operations/project management (ITO to OTR) R3 deal turnover process.
• Actively and independently participate and lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations with customers as and when required.
• Coordinate and as required lead the HQ/Regional/Sub-Regional/Deal Team Policy 5.0 deal underwriting review process in coordination with the applicable MYA ITO Director.
• Support the GEV Lean initiatives towards improvement of commercial (ITO) processes that impact the MYA business line requirements across the business lines, with special emphasis on lean opportunities to drive speed, waste reduction, and commercial intensity.
• Ensure process adherence to all contracting requirements with minimal support from GEV legal and SME resources.
• Enforce order-booking requirements and drive the R3 deal turnover process to ensure proper control of contract flow-down requirements
• Responsible to ensure accuracy for the scope definition, costing, and contract drafting during the commercial (ITO) process and further during the R3 deal turnover process for assigned deal opportunities.
• Be responsible for supporting the development and simplification of commercial processes with a Lean mindset
