This course is a continuation of Beginning Musical Theatre Techniques with emphasis on the applications of stylistic techniques for musical theatre ranging from the 1960’s to present day. Individual exercises in acting, movement and voice as related to contemporary musical theatre are explored. An audition or interview is required for the purpose of assigning solos and group performance roles. Instructor must be available starting February 2nd, 2026. Courses include Beginning Musical Theatre 2 MW 8:30-11:00am and/or Applied Voice, which is an arranged hours course based on you and your students’ availability. Future classes may include Beginning Movement Techniques for Musical Theatre and Beginning/Intermediate Musical Theatre. If hired: Successful candidates will work in close cooperation with the Musical Theatre Program Coordinator and report to the Department coordinator of the Theatre Arts Department.
