Job Description Are you looking for your next opportunity? Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Multinational Operations Coordinator to join our Multinational Operations team. This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management of multinational processes, systems, and projects. This position requires a hands-on approach to overseeing data accuracy, reconciliation processes, and supporting North American finance and reinsurance operations within the stated global protocol. The MN Operations Specialist will also manage multinational training tools and resources, collaborate across teams, and drive the implementation of innovative solutions, including artificial intelligence (AI) projects. This role demands excellent organizational skills, project management experience, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across diverse teams. Location: This position will be based out of our Charlotte, NC office. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Light project management experience, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to manage complex data sets effectively.
  • Basic finance management experience, with knowledge of reconciliation processes and financial reporting systems.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborating effectively across teams and departments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data management systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with global operations, reinsurance processes, and multinational business practices is preferred.
  • Experience or interest in artificial intelligence (AI) projects and tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review department documents for content and accuracy, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation processes of data across various systems for both assumed and ceded transactions.
  • Provide support for global finance and reinsurance processes, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Manage, produce, and maintain training tools and resources as directed to support the development of team members and others requiring multinational knowledge.
  • Contribute to the implementation and management of artificial intelligence (AI) projects, utilizing innovative technologies to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication across multinational operations.
  • Analyze and improve operational workflows to optimize efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational goals.
