A Multi-Unit Team Member is a role within an organization that involves providing assistance in various Stores on an as-needed basis. This may include covering for absent employees, filling in for short-term projects, or temporarily taking on duties assigned to other staff members. Floaters need to be flexible, have strong multitasking skills, and be able to quickly adjust to changing situations. They should be able to work independently and be confident in their ability to learn new tasks quickly. We seek Multi Unit Team Member who: Are genuine, have a positive attitude and are helpful Love to learn Are team players who celebrate their own and other’s success Are able to thrive in a retail environment Can connect with and engage guests in thoughtful conversations and make recommendations that meet their needs and the needs of their pet Maintain store cleanliness Learn and maintain inventory, including receiving, stocking, rotating and facing of product, cycle counts Participate in merchandising, work on creative display of products Attend store and company meetings (some meetings may be before or after hours) Are comfortable with computers, learning new systems, performing transactions for guests at the point of sale accurately and completely Have accurate cash handling skills, competent with basic math

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• At least 1 year of experience in a retail role, being a passionate pet owner is a plus
• Working knowledge of retail POS systems
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, can bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb a ladder
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Highly accountable and has integrity
• Strong communication skills
• Has the flexibility to work within our normal store operating hours, including weekends
• Desire to build a career with us!

Responsibilities
