Sodexo is seeking a Controller - Multi Unit, Multi-Service for a healthcare segment in Michigan . This role ensures accuracy, transparency, and compliance while driving process improvements and cost-control initiatives. The Controller will partner closely with operational leaders to analyze performance, identify efficiencies, and support strategic decision-making. Strong healthcare finance experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to manage complex, multi-entity financials are essential for success in this role. A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required . Requirements

  • Strong healthcare finance experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-entity financials
  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in finance, accounting or related field

Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial operations across multiple business units, ensuring compliance with Sodexo policies and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement financial controls, processes, and reporting to maintain accuracy and integrity of data
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles across all units, aligning financial plans with organizational goals
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for multiple entities, ensuring accurate reporting
  • Consolidate financial statements and provide detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
  • Partner with operational leaders to drive profitability, cost optimization, and strategic decision-making
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive analysis and internal control enhancements
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity for all units to ensure financial stability
  • Self-motivation and innovation to drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Professional polish to serve as a key financial advisor to senior management, providing insights on performance trends and growth opportunities
  • Expertise to build and mentor a high-performing finance team across multiple locations, fostering collaboration and accountability
  • Monitor KPIs and dashboards for financial health and operational performance across units
