A Multi Trades Worker performs entry-level to journey-level work in one or more building trades (such as plumbing, electrical, masonry/finisher, painting, roofing, and welding) and involve the maintenance, repair, alteration, and construction of fixtures, equipment, and facilities. The ideal candidate for the Multi Trades Worker II position in the Water Resources Department – Systems Reliability Division is a skilled and versatile trades professional with experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance . They should demonstrate: Technical proficiency in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on water resource systems and related infrastructure. Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in field and facility environments. Knowledge of safety standards and compliance with county and state regulations. Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for work order tracking and reporting. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle diverse tasks across multiple trades. Physical capability to work in outdoor conditions, confined spaces, and respond to emergency situations. Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors. Valid Florida Driver’s License (Class E) ; CDL preferred if required for equipment operation.
